An overall improvement.

Wednesday saw more rain gradually easing and with the sun breaking through in the late afternoon and giving a lovely warm evening. Overnight the clear sky’s saw temperatures plummet and Lee even had ice on his unhooking mat. These constant changes in temperature need to stabilise before the main body of carp start feeding in earnest so with a good forecast for the next week or so we should be seeing some great fishing. So far the lads have had 49 carp which is not a bad result considering the weather situation and I am confident that a good few more will be banked before their week is up. Dave once again is top rod with 5 x 30’s including 4 30+ commons backed up by plenty of high 20’s and both Lee and Stephen had had a few nice fish overnight. Prospects are looking good !!!

All those fish are looking really fat and in top class condition Jim,wait until the weather settles down and they really start munching. I would’nt mind betting that a 40 turns up in the next month or so.
