A frustrating week on the main lake….But Poppy’s produces the goods !

It has been a frustrating week for the lads with carp crashing, bubbling and generally very active and yet proving very hard to tempt onto anglers bait. Our thoughts are that the fish are gorging on bloodworm and small fish to build up their reserves in readiness for winter…….possibly. Whatever they are up to it…
